Oceanfront Bed & Breakfast Rooms
Built in the grand style of a Maine summer shingled cottage on the coast, all of Rockmere Bed & Breakfast rooms have a private bath with current up to date amenities such as hair dryers, flat screen TV’s, small refrigerators and beach towels. You couldn’t have any better amenity than the view of the ocean that we have. Little beach is just steps from Rockmere Bed & Breakfast and our main three-mile beach is a short walk away.
We are steps from the famous Marginal Way, a 1.7-mile walkway along the rocky coast of Maine. Rockmere Bed & Breakfast is the only Bed and Breakfast on the Marginal Way.
The Rockmere Breakfast
We serve a full breakfast consisting of perhaps waffles, blueberry pancakes, French toast, omelets, accented with fruit, yogurt, English muffins, toast, homemade muffins, etc.
If you try to book online for one night on a weekend when there is a two-night minimum stay required and you can not do it, give us a call at 1-888-646-2985 and we will see if a room is open for you. All rates reflect a stay of two nights or more.
Room #1 – The Marilou
Soothing Blue & White deco by the Sea, this is a small room but has all the amenities like all of our rooms.This room is located on the ground floor for those who can’t do many stairs. It has a Queen Size Bed,an upholstered chair, a dresser, nautical art work, private bath, TV, air conditioner, mini-fridge and wireless internet.
Room #2 – The Alf-Fred
Located on the second floor of the Inn, this ocean view room is finished in soothing shades of yellow and white. Very beachy in looks with sea-shell motif dresser and nightstand. Two side chairs in beige complete the décor of the Alf-Fred. Tastefully done without heavy accent pieces. Enjoy the Atlantic Ocean from the queen size bed in this room. The Alf-Fred has its own private bath for your comfort with a shower with a nice water pressure shower head. Top of the line retro lighting complete the over all appearance of the Alf-Fred plus a mini refrigerator for food, drinks or medications. There is also a 32” flat screen TV, air conditioning during the warmer months and wireless internet access.
Room #3 – The Barbara-Sue
Located on the second floor of the Rockmere, this room is decorated with blue, and white. The queen size bed along with two whitewashed Upholstered armchairs finish the total look of a seaside feeling at the Rockmere. A full bath with shower completes this guest room. A mini Refrigerator is also available in this room for your convenience. It also has a 32” flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure plus air conditioning and wireless internet access.
Room #4 – The Beverley-Mae
Being the largest of the Rockmere guest rooms, this second-floor room blends salmon, white and gold in the décor color scheme. The Beverly-Mae offers a queen size upholstered bed plus a twin-size pullout leather sofa to accommodate a third person at an extra charge when needed along with a leather upholstered chair alongside a reading lamp. The furnishings are French Provincial from Dexter Heritage making the front ocean view room very desirable for a relaxed vacation stay at the Rockmere. A full bath with shower completes the Beverly-Mae room. It also has a mini refrigerator and a 32” flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure plus air conditioning during the warmer months and wireless internet access.
Room #5 – The Anna-Marie
The Annamarie is a much sought after front corner ocean view room meaning it has ocean views from both the front and side windows. Watch fantastic sun rises in this room right from your bed. Decorated in a tropical palm soft green décor with white cane queen size bed, armoire, and a built-in window seat overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It has a mini refrigerator for your cooling needs and a full bathroom with a shower. It also has a 32” flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure plus air conditioning during the warmer months and wireless internet access.
Room #6 – The Victoria-Ruth
The Victoria-Ruth, on our third floor, is also a front corner room with all windows enjoying a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean with some of the greatest sun rises seen over the ocean! Finished in pale pastel shades of green, white and lavender with a queen size bed and a twin pull our sofa to accommodate a third person at an extra charge per night.There is a mini refrigerator and a 32” flat screen TV along with a full-size bath with a shower plus an air conditioner and wireless internet access. The Victoria-Ruth is a very comfortable room with views that can’t be beat!
Room #7 – The Drudy
Located on the third floor of the Rockmere, this front ocean view room is decorated in shades of burgundy, gold white and green. The Ethan Allen queen size Victorian High Back carved bed will make you fell like Royalty sleeping in it! A marble top dresser and side upholstered chair complete the furniture along with a pull-out twin-size leather ottoman bed for that extra person at an extra charge per night or for a second person to share. There is also a 32” flat screen TV and a mini refrigerator in this room plus air conditioning during the warmer months and wireless internet access. On cooler nights there is an electric corner fireplace for ambience and warmth to complete the décor. There is a full bath with a tub and shower included in this room.
Room #8 – The Jon-Dori
Located at the end of our wrap around front porch with its own private entrance, this room is decorated in shades of teal, beach blue and white as its color plate. It has a queen size upholstered back bed for your comfortable sleep. A silver hammered dresser and an upholstered armchair completes the décor of this room. A full-size bathroom with a shower and a mini refrigerator is provided for your comfort plus air conditioning during the warmer months and wireless internet access. This is a great ground floor room with ocean views for those that cannot do a lot of stairs.
